Why wind rating matters more in Belgrade
Out on the valley floor there's nothing to slow the wind down. A lot of the housing stock north and west of town went up quickly during the growth years on builder-grade shingles nailed to the minimum spec. Those roofs lose ridge cap and rake shingles first.
